Our Culinary Journey

Didem and Jasveer came together in 2024 with an interest in creating a culinary community that celebrates delicious yet simple to prepare dishes. They feel that cooking is more than just meal preparation; it’s an opportunity to slow down, connect with our food and those around us. Their aim is to create a warm and inviting space where you can explore new skills, discover flavorful recipes, and connect with others who share a similar food philosophy. They look forward to welcoming you into their kitchen and gathering around their table.

Our culinary inspiration

Some of our earliest and happiest memories revolve around food, whether they were from large family gatherings and endless communal meals, or pantries stocked with homemade staples such as pickles and savory snacks. Some of Jasveer’s fondest memories are of watching her grandfather lovingly tend to his garden and witnessing the joy he experienced with his harvest, teaching her an important early lesson on the relationship farmers have with their produce.

Didem has been in the culinary world since completing her training at the French Culinary Institute in New York in 2001. She has since owned a variety of restaurants in Istanbul and the Aegean coast and is currently is the owner of Gram, an upscale lunch restaurant located in the heart of Istanbul's financial district. She is most inspired by seasonal ingredients, local culture and her own personal memories with food.
